The Canadian Scam Watch Network is a volunteer group of ordinary people across Canada who help warn others about fake Illuminati and "secret society" recruiters. It is free, it is not secret, and it will never ask you for money.

Only things we can genuinely deliver. Nothing on this list costs you anything.

Scam alerts by email

When a new script, fake temple name or payment method starts showing up in reports, members hear about it so they can warn family and community groups first.

A plain-language warning kit

Printable one-pagers and shareable graphics in English and French you can post in a community centre, church, campus board or WhatsApp group.

Help walking someone through reporting

If a friend or relative has been targeted, a member can ask us for step-by-step help with the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, their bank and local police.

Your reports counted

Patterns members send in shape what this site publishes next, so the pages that rank ahead of the fake recruiters stay accurate.

What we will never do

  • No fee, dues, initiation cost or donation — ever.
  • No promises of money, luck, protection, fame or influence.
  • No oath, ritual, ring, certificate or secret rank.
  • No ID photos, SIN or banking details requested at any point.

If anyone contacts you claiming to represent this network and asks for a payment, an oath or your ID, it is a scam using our name. Please report it to us.

How to apply

  1. Step 1

    Send the short application below

    Your name or nickname, an email, where in Canada you are, and how you'd like to help. Nothing else is required.

  2. Step 2

    We reply by email, usually within a few days

    A real person answers from a named address. If anything ever arrives asking you for a payment, it did not come from us.

  3. Step 3

    Agree to the volunteer pledge

    One page: be honest, never charge anyone, never impersonate police or a bank, and pass people to the proper authorities.

  4. Step 4

    Get the warning kit and start

    You choose how much you do — sharing one post a month counts. You can leave any time by replying to any email.
