12 warning signs of an Illuminati recruitment scam

If even one of these appears in your conversation, stop and do not send anything. In reported Canadian cases, most victims saw several at once.

  1. 1A fee is required — registration, initiation, oath, temple, ring or courier.
  2. 2Payment is requested by e-transfer, gift cards, Bitcoin, Western Union or MoneyGram.
  3. 3You are asked for a photo of your driver's licence, passport or SIN.
  4. 4The account promises a fixed amount of money, a car or a house after joining.
  5. 5You are told to keep the conversation secret from family and friends.
  6. 6The 'agent' has a brand-new social account with stock photos and few followers.
  7. 7The site has no verifiable Canadian address, business number or named staff.
  8. 8Messages are full of grammar errors and copied-and-pasted 'oath' text.
  9. 9You are rushed: the offer 'closes today' or 'the temple is selecting now'.
  10. 10After one payment, a new unexpected fee appears immediately.
  11. 11You are asked to recruit others to cover your own fee.
  12. 12You receive curses, spiritual threats or blackmail when you stop paying.
